The Clean Slate without Prejudice Programme (CSWP) provides mentoring and physical training to at-risk young people. Focussing on teaching positive approaches to support study and employment, the programme has been credited with reducing crime by 80% and changing lives of young people who are now experiencing lasting success.

Charity Overview

Tribal Warrior is an indigenous community organisation which provides a range of training and mentoring programmes to disadvantaged young people. Tribal Warrior is unique in its approach of running commercial ventures which then support training initiatives. For example, the organisation runs Aboriginal Cultural Cruises and charter services on Sydney Harbour and then uses its vessels to provide Maritime training. They also conduct cultural ceremonies for special events, which provide a way to pass on cultural traditions to the next generation. Tribal Warrior was established by Shane Philips who was named the 2013 Local Hero at this year's Australia Day Awards.
