The Metro Quarter will be integrated with the new Waterloo Sydney Metro Station and will encompass a new Metro Station and over station development, including new homes (including social and affordable housing), shops, community health services / community services and a new public / community plaza (concept only image) with an adjoining community building. The Metro Quarter Precinct is bounded by Botany Road, Cope Street, Raglan and Wellington Street. The Metro Quarter will be delivered ahead of the wider Waterloo Estate redevelopment and aims to be completed by 2022 before the trains are expected in 2024.
The proposal is on non statutory exhibition from 30th May until 20th June, so this will be an opportunity to find out what is proposed and to work out what you want to say.
