Prior to the Sydney 2000 Olympics, ashes from a sacred aboriginal fire were taken to Victoria Park Sydney establishing the Aboriginal Tent Embassy, peace camp. Fire of the Land is the story of the Embassy’s campaign to get international recognition for Aboriginal sovereignty, capturing an unique moment in Aboriginal Protest history.
