Next weekend, NITV and SBS will be at the heart of the 49th NSW Aboriginal Rugby League Knockout, otherwise known as the Koori Knockout.
This year's Knockout (KKO) will be held at Tuggerah’s Central Coast Regional Sporting and Recreation Complex. Mob from every corner of the state will attend and support the regional and metropolitan NSW teams as men, women and juniors battle it out for rugby league glory.
Dedicated to league-loving viewers from the beginning, the Koori Knockout was NITV’s first-ever outside broadcast. 2019 marks NITV’s 12th consecutive year of broadcasting the Knockout, with the channel once again the official media partner.

This year, NITV will bring full day live match coverage of the semi-final clashes on Sunday 6 October, and on Monday 7 October both NITV and SBS will air full day live match coverage of the grand final from 2:30pm – 5.30pm.
Commentators and Presenters
Known as one of the largest gatherings of Indigenous peoples in the world, the Koori Knockout is rugby league at its best, with more than 100 teams across the men’s, women’s and junior tournaments competing for the top prize.
Commentating from the Oval are presenters Brad Cooke, Djuro Sen and Dean Widders bringing viewers exclusive interviews and news, with commentary from Beau Champion, and Over the Black Dot panel members Bo de la Cruz and Jodan Perry.
The Knockout will also celebrate the best in women’s rugby league, with legendary Australia player, and former Australian of the Year nominee, Katrina Fanning, taking over the commentary for the women’s finals over the weekend.

NITV Online will also host 2 days of Field One coverage on Facebook Live on Friday 4 October and Saturday 5 October, with daily wraps and highlights hosted by NRL player and journalist Tanisha Stanton.

The Koori Knockout will air live on NITV on Sunday 6 October from 9am-5pm and live on both NITV and SBS Monday 7 October from 9am - 5.30pm. Replays will be available via SBS On Demand after broadcast.
